Anika at her desk! (When she got there she found a notebook, folder, hardwriting workbook, eraser, and pencil - WOW! What a delightful treasure. And she
gets to sit right by Mrs. DeJong. She is also blessed to know ALL the girls in her class already - she either had them in class last year or they go to our church! YEAH. There were no major tears this morning, although her eyes did fill up when I had to walk out of the room. Mom did okay too;-)

So happy to hear Anika had a good first day back. She was too cute walking into the assembly holding Mrs. DJ's hand! Future teacher!
