While I'm tempted to wax on and on about seasons of life changing, chapters coming to an end, doors closing, suns setting and whatever other analogy/cliche I can come up with, I will refrain. Suffice it to say, Anika begins kindergarten tomorrow. SIGH! Last night we were able to visit her classroom, meet her teacher, say 'hi' to some other students, and see her cubby and seat. She was so excited to look for her name and play on the playground equipment.

So exciting, but sad, too. I know she'll do great...and so will you!!!

OK, I'll get the kleenex now!
What a sweet post! Love your intro and that picture of the kids holding hands.
It IS hard to let them go, but when you see how much Anika thrives in her classroom, you'll feel happy. And think of the opportunity you'll have to give Andrew and Kathryn more attention (or go grocery shopping with just TWO kids, at the very least!).
Will be praying for Anika and all our other first-day student and teacher friends today! :)
