Anika is happily experiencing her first year in our church's GEMS Club (and my first as a counselor). She has loved every minute of it. Recently we had a few outing that I'm just now getting around to sharing. At the end of January, we headed up to the mountains for a snow day. Tubing and snow fun were on the docket.

We also had our annual Father/Daughter Night. It was a "Minute to Win It" theme. Couples were asked to dress in costume. We were thinking of a cops/robbers theme when we found out that Anika's good friend, Raegan, and her dad were going as robbers. So I sent my police detectives to track them down. It was so much fun. We made up a wanted poster for them to take to the event. After dinner and games, the cops/robbers won the costume contest. It was such a surprise, but so much fun.
